| At The Top of the World This is the area of Canada's territory, Nunavut, where the Magnetic North Pole is located and where the trek took place. Helen flew into Resolute—where she met Charlie—by commercial airline, then they both transfered to an ancient DC3 for the fifty-seven mile flight to Polaris mine, near the south end of Bathurst Island.
