Greg Landreth and Keri Pashuk are a husband and wife team who met in the Antarctic in 1986 while crewing on different boats. They were married in 1990 in Canada and began purchasing Northanger with the idea of using her for sailing and climbing expeditions. Keri is Canadian, from Bracebridge, Ontario and Greg is a New Zealander from Ashburton, New Zealand. Keri and Greg take a special interest in high latitude sailing combined with expeditionary pursuits – climbing in particular. It is Keri and Greg’s daunting task to initiate their team members to ocean Antarctic crossings – and to keep Northanger’s systems operational throughout the deep freeze to follow.
Roger Robinsons - British - architect, sailor. Sailed with H. W. Tilman on Mischief in 1968 on the voyage to Antarctica. He left the boat to work in the Falkland Islands. Tillman continued south with the intent to climb Mount Foster on Smith Island though this goal was not achieved. Since sailing with Bill Tilman in 1968, Roger has hoped to someday make the voyage to Antarctica. Roger is now realizing the dream to sail to Antarctic aboard Northanger.
Niel Fox - British - adventurer, sailor. Just cycled from Venezuela to Ushuia after having hiked, biked and kayaked his way down Europe and then sailed across the Antlantic. Niel joined the expedition after hearing about us from his friend, Mike Sharp. (Mike is one of the original owners of Northanger and also a friend of ours). Niel is on a human powered adventure, cycling, kayaking, climbing and sailing the world and a voyage to Antarctic is a continuation on to the last continent. See

Eduard Birnbacher - German (Bavarian), climber, guide. A serious rock and ice climber, Eduard has climbed all over the world, including the Himilayas and South America and has acheived numerous first ascents. Eduard's enthusiasm and need to get to Antarctica to climb has been the impetus for this 2003 trip to the peninsula. After reading about Northanger in the climbing magazines, his letters have followed us the world over asking: "Please, if you go back to Antarctica on a climbing trip, I would like very much to come. My experience is..."
Jonathon Selby - British, computer programmer, sailor. Designer of weather and satellite programs and partner in Xaxero.com. Jonathon lives with his wife and daughter aboard their 40 foot sailboat currently moored in Puerto Williams, Chile. Jonathon is the last addition to the crew though a very important one at that. He and his company, Xaxero, sponsored Northanger with a weatherfax program for our Arctic wintering expedition. We met up with Jonathon on the deck of the sunken military supply vessel, the Micalvi which is now the southernmost yacht club in Puerto Williams Chile. He brings with him not only his SkyEye satellite system and weatherfax progam but his skills as a sailor.
Northanger traversed the Northwest Passage in 1988-89. In 1995-96 a Northanger team carried out the first ascent of Mount Foster on Smith Island in the Antarctic, earning Northanger the Tilman Medal of the Royal Cruising Club of Great Britain.
